Founded in 1898, the world-famous Weill Medical College of Cornell University is a magnet for outstanding clinicians, scientists, researchers and talented young doctors in training. Since 1983, Cornell has been home to the annual Symposium on Women’s Health, inaugurated on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Cornell’s Dr. George Papanicolaou, whose Pap test for cervical cancer has saved countless women’s lives.
